Vedic Astrology Birth Chart
For a Pisces Ascendant Mercury (Gemini) rules the 4th house and Mercury will be placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 9th house considering 4th house lord being placed in the 9th house. There are 3 Nakshatras that falls under the sign of Scorpio and those are Jyestha, Anuradha and the Visakha. You must look at which exact Nakshatra and it's Pada Mercury falls in > in your astrological software and that will help in a better prediction about what Mercury is going to do in the sign of Scorpio in the 9th house.

Since Mercury is placed in the sign of Scorpio the placement of Mars (lord of Scorpio) is important to know. Since Scorpio is a sign of sudden ups and downs the placement of Mercury in this sign could even produce a sports commentator especially if Mars, the lord of Scorpio, is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 4th house. This is because there are a lot of sudden ups and downs in sports when two teams or two individuals compete with each other. As a sports commentator, you speak or communicate about those ups and downs. But Mars must be placed in the sign of Gemini in the 4th house especially in the Mrigasira Nakshatra pada 4 (ruled by Mars with Gemini as the sign).

Mars is energy and so the native spends a lot of energy in communication when in the sign of Gemini. But since Mercury is in the sign of Scorpio the communication could be about something where there are sudden ups and downs. Gemini is actually a sign of sports where there is a lot of involvement of hands and shoulders which Mercury represents as Mercury is also skills of hands. Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, etc are some of the examples of that.

Currently, when I am writing the cricket world cup June 2019 is on its way and in the transit Rahu, Mars and Mercury all three are in the sign of Gemini and this clearly shows that Gemini is also a sign of sports involving skills of hands. In transit, Rahu is amplifying Mars to become active in the sign of Gemini which is nothing but the skills of hands and so cricket world cup is going. Mars is a planet of competition and so definitely represents sports.

Considering Mercury is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 9th house if Mars is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 10th house the native could become a lawyer. This is because Mars becomes very active (and competitive) in proving its authority (10th house) in law (9th house) when it is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 10th house. Scorpio is also a sign to dig deep for the truth (research) and when Mercury is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 9th house the digging deep to find the truth (or research) is in the field of Law which the 9th house represents.

If Mercury is in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house and if Mars is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 3rd house the native could be very active in doing research over the internet as 9th house is Google search and other types of searches you do in other search engines if not Google. You may be in a job for a finance company doing research for them with this placement of Mercury.

You may also be involved in web coding such as programming, web development, app development or even occult science with this placement of Mercury. Just right click on any website and then click on "view source" and all the coding you see there is nothing but Scorpio because codes are always hidden and all hidden things are represented by the sign of Scorpio. Venus represents a website.

There is a strong co-relation between Scorpio and Taurus which you should know. The person could also become news anchor for stock-markets related news as there are a lot of sudden ups and downs in the financial markets. Also, 9th to 3rd house axis is of the media world and Pisces Ascendants in general are very active "behind the scenes" as they have that 12th house energy in them and 12th house represents "behind the scenes" or mass media as it is 10th from the 3rd house of media and so it becomes the karma (action) of the 3rd house.

The announcers of the arrival and departure of trains and flights may also have the placement of 4th lord Mercury in the 9th house in the sign of Scorpio as there are sudden ups and downs and also risk involved in such kind of travel and risks and emergencies are represented by the sign of Scorpio. Wherever or whenever you need to communicate about risks, frauds, and emergencies Mercury gets activated in the sign of Scorpio. People who answer to emergency calls such as call handler/emergency medical dispatcher, police, fire or ambulance dispatcher are good examples of that and such people may also have their Mercury in the sign of Scorpio in the 9th house.

There are many people from countries like Nigeria who make fraudulent calls and also involved in hacking such people may also have the same placement of Mercury. Their Mars will usually be found in the 8th house in the sign of Libra or they may have a debilitated Mars in the sign of Cancer in the 5th house as the person becomes immoral when Mars is debilitated.
