Can Venus tell where from your money will come in life in Vedic Astrology?
Home : Vedic Astrology: You are here
Also, Venus represents wealth or money as it rules the 2nd house of wealth in the natural zodiac and so things you are passionate about in life that is only going to bring you money. So in order to understand where from your wealth will come will depend a lot on your passion in life and that will be known by knowing the placement of Venus in the horoscope. If you have passion for acquiring knowledge then most probably you won't do something in life that doesn't help in acquiring knowledge and then it will be your knowledge only that is going to bring you money. So it is important to know the placement of Venus in the birth chart in order to understand the career path.
For example, my brother has his Venus placed in its own sign of Taurus in the 4th house along with Saturn and he is into the wholesale food business of rice and earlier for many years he was into wholesale clothing business and through these businesses only he makes money. This is quite clear as Venus represents food and clothing and other luxury items and 4th house is of wholesale business while the 2nd house is the retail business. Know the difference between the 4th house and the 2nd house here.
I have another younger brother whose Venus is in the sign of Leo in the 3rd house and the lord of 3rd house Sun is seated in the 4th house in the sign of Virgo and he prepares and finalizes the designs on clothes. Leo is a sign of creativity and so Venus makes you very creative in this sign especially if Sun, the lord of Leo, is placed along with Mercury in the sign of Virgo in the 4th house. When Venus is placed in the sign of Leo you will be passionate about creativity and so creativity could be something that will make you money in life.
But the results may vary a lot according to > which house Venus is placed in the sign of Leo and where is the Sun placed. 3rd and 4th house are mostly of business and so you could apply your creativity in business. But in other houses, it may not be the case.
For example, if both Sun and Venus are placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house (for Aries Ascendant) then you could perform on the stage as 5th house represents the stage performance and this could also be the source of your income as Venus gives wealth through your passion.
The only placement of Venus where you are forced to do something which you are not passionate about is the placement of Venus in the sign of Virgo but this is also only problematic if Venus is debilitated (Venus in Virgo) in both the birth chart and the Navamsa Chart. If your Venus is in the sign of Virgo (along with Mercury) in the 6th house you could be passionate about healing other people as Virgo is a sign of health and healing. You could become a doctor or a Nurse with this kind of placement of Venus.
The only problem is > a single sign represents many different things and so you still cannot be sure about one particular profession. For this reason, you should also look at the exact Nakshatra and its Pada (there are 4 Padas in a Nakshatra) where your Venus is placed and that will give more better idea what exactly your Venus is passionate about.
For example, there are 3 Nakshatras that fall in the sign of Virgo with 4 Padas in each Nakshatra and so the results will vary accordingly. But you should also understand the characteristics of each Nakshatra and that will really help.
For example, If your Venus is placed in the sign of Aries then you could be into the cooking of food especially if your Venus is placed in the Bharani Nakshatra but you could also be into sports and race cars if Venus is placed in the Ashwini Nakshatra in the sign of Aries. This is because both these Nakshatras fall in the sign of Aries but their characteristics are different. So knowing about the Nakshatras is most important to understand the Vedic Astrology better.
Also, it is important to look at the lord of the sign where your Venus is placed. For example, some astrologer may say Venus in the sign of Capricorn may make you very creative but unless we know where Saturn (lord of Capricorn) is placed it is not possible to judge correctly.
For example, if Venus is placed in the sign of Capricorn and Saturn, the lord of Capricorn, is placed in the sign of Scorpio then you could become a cricketer as when you hit a ball in cricket it is an action of Saturn (Capricorn) and you have the passion for hitting the ball when Venus is placed in the sign of Capricorn and Scorpio is a sign of ups and downs which is always there in the game of cricket when your bat sometimes go up and sometimes go down when you play with it.
On the other hand, if Saturn is placed in the sign of Taurus (still considering Venus in Capricorn) then you could even become an artist as Venus becomes extremely focused in the sign of Capricorn as it is a very disciplined and practical sign. So this is how it all goes and Venus really tells your profession if you analyze carefully the Nakshatra and its Pada where Venus is placed.
If, for example, Venus is posited in the sign of Leo in the 8th house (for a Capricorn Ascendant) then you could be into gambling as the sign of Leo is about fun and in the 8th house the fun could become gambling as 8th house is a house of risks and emergencies. But you could also become a Gynecologist if Venus is placed in the sign of Leo in the 8th house and if Sun (the Lord of Leo) is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 5th house as 5th house is of children and 8th house is of surgeries and a Gynecologist does the surgeries to bring the child out of the mother's womb.
However, Venus alone cannot tell you the profession but it can give 70-80% idea and rest can be concluded from the location of other planets in the birth chart. But of course, Venus makes the prediction very closer as it is a fact that mostly you do that thing in life which you are passionate about and your passion is represented by the planet Venus.
