Gold smuggling seen through Vedic Astrology

Smuggling is something that is illegal and a debilitated planet often represents something that is illegal. Since here gold is involved then Gold has to do with Sun as Sun represents Gold, as Sun is known as the planet of wealth, and Gold is also considered wealth. Currency is just the medium of making transactions but actually gold and silver are considered real wealth.

Now when Sun is debilitated (placed in the sign of Libra) then this is what actually gives smuggling of gold. For example, for a Scorpio ascendant if the 10th house lord, Sun, is placed in the sign of Libra (debilitated Sun) in the 12th house then such native may involve himself in the smuggling of gold as 12th house is the house of foreign countries and Libra is a sign of trade and Sun represents gold. Also, the 12th house is the house of hidden activities and smuggling is also done in a hidden way. People doing all the illegal activities and having a connection with the underworld are often seen from this placement.

Here are the planetary placements of a person engaged in gold smuggling.

Ascendant: Scorpio

Sun > placed in the sign of Libra in the 12th house

Mars > placed in the 7th house in the sign of Taurus

Venus > placed in the 12th house along with Sun in the sign of Libra

Jupiter > placed in the sign of Gemini in the 8th house.

Mercury > placed in the 12th house along with Sun and Venus

Moon > placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 1st house.

Saturn > placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 2nd house

Rahu > placed in the 2nd house

Ketu > placed in the 8th house along with Jupiter.

Jupiter in the sign of Gemini clearly shows the native is using his wisdom and knowledge in documents (as the sign of Gemini represents travel or trade documents when Jupiter is placed in it) related to trades and all these documents are illegal as the sign of Gemini falls on the 8th house of illegal activities and also Mercury is placed along with debilitated Sun in the 12th house of foreign places and shipping. Sun loses its dignity in the sign of Libra and then a planet sitting along with it does the same thing.

Though Sun is considered debilitated in the sign of Libra but here Venus, lord of Libra, is also placed along with Sun and so there is also a Neech Bhang Raj Yog occurring and so Sun, in reality, cannot be considered debilitated here but still, it is making the native to do illegal gold and drug (including medicines) smuggling.

When the ascendant lord is placed in the 7th house it shows the purpose of the native's life is to trade from foreign countries as 7th house is the house of trade and also 7th lord, Venus, is placed in the 12th house of foreign countries which means trade through foreign sources. But this native is also having secret sexual relationships with multiple women due to the placement of Mars in the 7th house and Venus being placed in the 12th house of "bedroom life" along with Mercury and Sun. Mercury is also the representation of mating and Sun is having fun > with women as Venus represents women in the birth chart of a man. Mercury is a dual sign which means relationships with 2 women. Also, 12th house is a hidden house which means hidden or secret relationships.

It is not always so that a Scorpio ascendant is only going to be involved in Gold smuggling as in their case only Sun could get debilitated in the 12th house of foreign trades. I said trades because the sign of Libra falls on the 12th house for a Scorpio ascendant. The ascendant could be anything but in rashi dasha if the rashi of Scorpio is running then we need to make that rashi as ascendant and now if we look at the chart and if Sun is debilitated in the 12th house then during the rashi dasha of Scorpio native may be involved in Gold Smuggling. But of course the location of other planets in the birth chart also matters a lot.

In General, Sun in the 12th house gives a bad image to the native as the 12th house is the house of losses and Sun is our image and so it becomes a loss of image or reputation. But it is not always so and image could also be of a spiritual person as 12th house also represents spirituality. Sonu Nigam, the Indian singer, has a very good image though his Sun is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house.
