What if Jupiter is in Cancer for Leo Ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

Jupiter controls the 5th house and the 8th house for a Leo ascendant and it will fall in the 12th house when placed in the sign of Cancer (exalted Jupiter). Any planet in the 12th house is usually not considered good as it may give loss of some kind but not always. For a Leo ascendant, Jupiter controls the 5th house of kids and so the native could be deprived of kids in his life if suppose pada of A5 and UL (A12) are conjuncting together in the 5th house and 5th lord, Jupiter, is placed in the 12th house of losses. If instead pada of A8 falls on the 5th house there could be a miscarriage or so-called abortion and so the loss of a child could occur that way for a female native. 1) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon is placed in the sign of Leo in the 1st house then this is a good placement for video games developers, filmmakers, film directors, cartoon filmmakers, video production, video editing or film editing, mobile app developers, youtube video makers, photo editors, photographers, etc. But again a lot will depend on the position of Sun, ruler of Leo, in the birth chart so look for that as well.

2) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 2nd house then here the mind could be involved in some complicated tasks (depending on the location of Mercury, ruler of Virgo) as Virgo is a sign of complications and Moon represents our mind. If Mercury is placed in the sign of Leo in the 1st house then the native could again be involved in video or film editing or some complicated task in filmmaking. In childhood, the native could also play a lot of video games related to fights with this placement such as PUBG.

If Mercury is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house then the native could even be a surgical doctor such as a heart surgeon as the 4th house represents our heart. If Mercury is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 5th house then the native could be associated with some legal profession such as a real estate lawyer. If Mercury is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 6th house then the native could be an engineer or a mechanic who works on machines. If Mercury is placed in the 2nd house itself then the native could be involved in accounting and so on...

3) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Libra in the 3rd house then very creative and artistic people are seen from this placement especially if Moon is placed in the sign of Libra but in the Nakshatra of Chitra. The Deity of Chitra Nakshatra is Vishwakarma who is known as the celestial architect of the Universe and that is the reason it is a very creative nakshatra.

In general, Moon in Libra people may not be creative but if Jupiter is placed in the sign of Moon, which is Cancer, then it makes the native very creative and here we are already talking about Jupiter in Cancer and Moon in Libra. Such natives will certainly be good at arts, crafts, designing, drawing, painting, digital designing such as web design, graphic design, app design, mobile design, sketching, etc. But again a lot will depend on the position of Venus, ruler of Libra, in the birth chart so look for that.

4) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house then psychologists, psychiatrists, and people like surgical doctors are generally seen from this placement. Moon is a very emotional sign which is related to the psyche of a person and Scorpio is a sign of going to the roots. But Moon is considered debilitated in the sign of Scorpio and so this placement is usually not considered good even for a doctor and they themselves even may suffer from psychological problems.

5) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 5th house then financial advisors, financial analysts, teacher of finance, and people dealing in the financial markets are usually seen from this placement. Also, there are people who are giving knowledge and information about financial markets and such people can also be seen from this placement. Also, there are people who are giving news about sports and also about the entertainment industry and such people can also be seen from this placement.

6) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 6th house then mechanical engineers are usually seen from this placement as the sign of Capricorn represents machines and these are engineers only who work on machines. Also, Jupiter controls the 8th house for a Leo ascendant and 8th house is all about going to the roots of something and in engineering, you go to the roots of machines. But electronics and electrical engineers can also be seen from this placement as Jupiter also controls the 5th house for a Leo ascendant and 5th house is the house of Sun in the default zodiac and Sun controls light and lighting and so it also controls electricity.

7) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Aquarius in the 7th house then people involved in employee management and recruiting are generally seen from this placement as the sign of Aquarius represents the employees or the public and 7th house is the house of one-to-one interaction and here it means controlling the employees. But the sign of Aquarius represents large networks such as computer networks or satellite networks and so people like computer network engineers and satellite engineers or aerospace engineers can also be seen from this placement. If you are involved in some kind of networking then this placement is possible.

8) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 8th house then people involved in occult science and paranormal are usually seen from this placement. This is also the best placement for research scientists as 8th house is the house of going to the roots of everything. People working in the field of science and astronomy can also be seen from this placement. Aerospace engineers or people somehow connected with Outerspace are also seen with this placement as Pisces is a sign that represents the Outerspace. Pisces is also a spiritual sign so musicians can also be seen from this placement as spirituality is expressed through music and dance.

9) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Aries in the 9th house then people involved in cooking and sports are usually seen from this placement as Aries is a fiery sign and fire is involved in cooking and Cancer is also a sign of food. Also, a lot of fire is needed in sports but Mars needs to be well placed in the chart. People engaged in the making of fuel engine systems or fuel engineering are also seen from this placement as Aries is a sign of spark and it is a sign of ignition also. Basically automobile engineers are seen from this placement where they work on an internal combustion engine and the internal combustion engine is seen by the sign of Aries. Also, industrial engineers can be seen from this placement.

10) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 10th house then people working in the field of IT (information technology) as digital designers such as app design, mobile design, web development, software development, graphic design, digital clothing designing, etc are generally seen from this placement as Venus or the sign of Taurus represents websites, apps, and software and Venus is also a planet of designing.

But the sign of Taurus also represents finances and so people engaged in the development of financial tools such as finance management software, hr software, accounting software, etc can also be seen from this placement. Basically 10th house is the house of automation as Saturn is automation and Saturn rules the 10th house in the default zodiac.

11) If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house but if Moon, lord of Cancer, is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 11th house then civil engineers are generally seen from this placement as Gemini is a sign that represents travel and to travel you need to make roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, airways, etc. Also, Cancer is a sign that represents shelters or conveniences, and road is a convenience for travel and Jupiter is already placed in the sign of Cancer. All kinds of conveniences are seen by the sign of Cancer. If you are away from home and need a hotel than that hotel is again a convenience for you represented by the sign of Cancer. But Gemini is also a sign of communication and so telecom engineers can also be seen from this placement.
