Lots of ups and downs in career : Vedic Astrology

You can see the birth chart on the left or click here if you are on mobile and this is the chart of a Leo ascendant native and you can see his 10th lord, Venus, is placed in the 8th house in the sign of Pisces. But this is not always the case that 10th lord when placed in the 8th house is going to bring change in career but since in this chart Ketu is placed in the 10th house it is causing the change of job as whichever house Ketu is placed you don't care about that house and try to ignore the significance of that house.

Just one placement either Ketu placed in the 10th house or 10th house lord in 8th house cannot bring > ups and downs in the career but when both these placements are simultaneously happening in the chart then it becomes a major problem. That is the reason the native cannot stay in one job and he is changing the job every 2 to 3 years.

Also, if you see, the native is a Leo ascendant and its hard for a king to work under someone as Leo or Sun represents a king or administrative or leadership position. So these people are meant for leadership or kingly positions and cannot take orders. They can take orders but if people with less wisdom are giving them orders and giving them wrong advice or asking to do something illegal then it becomes difficult for them to take it as Leo ascendant natives have the maximum wisdom of all the ascendants as the sign of Sagittarius rules their 5th house which is the house of Sun in the default zodiac and Sun rules our forehead where the wisdom is stored. Sun and Jupiter are the major planets of wisdom and discretion.

Also, his Rahu is placed in the 4th house and 4th lord, Mars, is placed in the 11th house and 11th lord, Mercury, is placed in the 7th house of customer care and this placement shows that the native is obsessed about nurturing the masses or the public or the customers (as 11th house represents the people or customers) through his communication or marketing. This is because 4th house is the house of nurturing and since 4th lord, Mars, is placed in the sign of Gemini so it becomes nurturing people by putting a lot of energy and efforts into communication as Mars represents the energy within us and Gemini is a sign of communication and Mercury is also placed in the 7th house which is the house of one-to-one interaction or customer care.

Due to ups and downs in the job the native finally left the job and now he is into the business of food as his 12th house lord Moon is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house. Also, pada of A2 falls in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house and A2 is a pada of food and luxury items. Scorpio is a sign of change or transform and heat is basically used to transform something from one state to another. When you boil raw food to make it as an eatable food then this is also a type of change represented by the sign of Scorpio and when Rahu is placed in the 4th house in the sign of Scorpio along with Moon then food business is likely and the native sometimes also cook himself. He is running a restaurant with several cooks as his employees.

Now he is into a leadership position in his own business and takes care of the cash counter and this is quite possible as his Jupiter is placed in the 2nd house of finances and so the wisdom is being used to maintain the finances of the business as Jupiter represents our wisdom.

When Rahu is placed in the 4th house then mostly people do business but not always as a lot depends on the placement of other planets in the birth chart. But generally, they do business as businessmen don't do any work that involves creating or manufacturing something (such as making a software) and they only nurture the customers by communicating to them or marketing their product to them and nurturing is represented by the 4th house and manufacturing is represented by the 10th house.

That is the reason when Rahu is placed in the 10th house then you will find the native working hard to create or manufacture something such as manufacturing a phone, creating a website, creating a software, manufacturing electronic items, repairing a watch, etc. On the other hand, when Rahu is placed in the 4th house then mostly people give knowledge and information or may nurture patients in the medical field. So this is how it works. Whichever house Rahu is placed that becomes the aim of life as Rahu is an obsession and you do that thing only throughout your life which you are obsessed about.

Now coming back to the > ups and downs in the career > if the 6th lord is placed in the 8th house and if Ketu is also placed in the 8th house then this is also the placement for change in job or a lot of ups and downs in the career. Also, when Rahu is placed in the 12th house and Ketu is placed in the 6th house it also brings loss of job or change in a job as Ketu in the 6th house doesn't want to work under someone.
