Birth chart of a Tennis player (Vedic Astrology)

birth chart of a tennis player
On the left, you can see the birth chart of Glasser Georges who was a French tennis player. Click here to see the chart if you are on mobile. He was ranked 8th among the top french players in 1932. He died on 13 Jan 2002 at the age of 94.

As you can he was a Cancer Ascendant with the ascendant lord placed in the 8th house in the sign of Aquarius. 8th house is the house of turbulence or sudden ups and downs and when you play tennis there is a lot of up and down on the physical body and also you move here and there while playing the game of tennis and Aquarius is a sign of moving here and there and his ascendant lord Moon is placed in the sign of Aquarius in the 8th house.

Ascendant lord and the 1st house represents the physical self and when a planet like Jupiter is placed in the 1st house it can certainly make the physical body to work a lot as Saturn is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 9th house (9th house is exploration) which is the sign of Jupiter and also Mars is placed in the sign of Sagittarius which is again a sign of Jupiter and Jupiter is placed in the 1st house of the physical self.

When Mars is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 6th house then it means applying energy (as Mars is energy) to make the thighs or legs or the physical body to move as the lord of Sagittarius, Jupiter, is placed in the 1st house of the physical body. Also, Sagittarius is a sign of exploration or long-distance travel, and when you play you travel (move) a lot with your legs. Also, the sign of Sagittarius represents our thighs, and while playing tennis a lot of effort and energy (Mars) are being used on thighs as you need to move a lot by your legs.

As said before, the 1st house is the house of the physical self but we don't know which body part of the physical self is active unless we know which planets are placed in the 1st house. In this chart, Mercury is placed in the 1st house and Mercury represents our hands and shoulders and so as per this chart hands are active on the physical which makes perfect sense for a tennis player as a tennis player makes use of hands to play.

Also, Jupiter is placed in the 1st house and this shows thighs are also active on the physical self as Jupiter represents the thighs in our body and thighs are also very much active while playing tennis as tennis players need to move a lot by their legs or thighs and the ascendant lord Moon is also placed in the sign of Aquarius and Aquarius represents our lower legs, below the thighs.

His Rahu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 12th house and Gemini is again a sign that represents our hands and shoulders and since the lord of Gemini, Mercury, is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Cancer it again shows obsession about working with hands and shoulders as Rahu represents our obsession.

Here is the placement of planets according to the Nakshatras.

Lagna > placed in Pushya Nakshatra pada 1

Sun > placed in Magha Nakshatra pada 3

Moon > placed in Satabhisha Nakshatra pada 3
