What if Mars is in 1st house for Capricorn ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

This article is also valid for > 4th lord in 1st house and 11th lord in 1st house for Capricorn ascendant.

Mars will fall in the sign of Capricorn when placed in the 1st house. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.

1) Capricorn is a sign that represents a machine. A machine is anything that makes the work easier and effortless. For example, a vehicle is also a machine as it helps to travel faster and easier. Now, if Mars is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 1st house and if the ascendant lord, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 12th house then the native may travel a lot via some vehicle especially if Jupiter, lord of Sagittarius, is placed in the sign of Aries in the 4th house of comforts. Aries is a sign that makes us move or travel and when Jupiter is placed in the sign of Aries then it could be travel with a vehicle especially if Saturn is placed in the sign of Jupiter, Sagittarius, as Sagittarius is a sign of long-distance journeys.

Mars in Capricorn means aggressive with a machine and when Saturn (lord of Capricorn) is placed in the sign of Sagittarius it means this machine could be related to long-distance journey (as Sagittarius is a sign of long-distance journey) such as a vehicle and this becomes more confirmed when Jupiter, lord of Sagittarius, falls in the sign of Aries as Aries makes us move as Aries is energy and Aries is also the engine and fuel in a vehicle and that is what makes the vehicle move. Vehicle drivers such as truck drivers and taxi drivers are quite often seen from this placement.

2) Mars in the 1st house makes a person physically very active as the 1st house represents the physical self and since the sign of Capricorn falls on the 1st house for a Capricorn ascendant so it makes the person physically active while working with a machine. For example, if Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 11th house then such natives could also work in the mining, oil, coal, iron, steel, and petroleum extraction industries. They mainly do the job of drilling using machines because without drilling it is not possible to extract anything from the mother earth. Scorpio is also a sign of drilling as it is the sign of going to the roots of something. People like security officers and police officers can also be seen from this placement.

3) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Libra in the 10th house then people in the field of law and security such as police officers, soldiers, traffic police, ticket checkers, lawyers, judges, sportsmen, athletes, etc are generally seen from this placement. Government jobs are extremely possible with this placement as the 10th house represents the higher authorities such as the government. 10th house is actually 6th from the 5th house of sports and so 10th house is also the house of sports competitions as anything 6th is competition.

4) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 9th house then people doing manual labor jobs or involved in sports are generally seen from this placement. But people like lawyers can again be seen from this placement as such people spend a lot of their energy in doing arguments related to law as 9th house is also the house of law and Virgo is a sign of arguments and Saturn is a planet of strictness.

Many industrial workers who are working on machines to produce something in the field of agriculture or food crops or clothing can also be seen from this placement. So people like farmers and gardeners are most commonly seen from this placement as 9th house is also the house that represents the field of agriculture. Both Capricorn and Virgo are practical signs and so a lot of physical work is possible with this placement as Mars (planet of putting energy and efforts) is in the 1st house of the physical self.

There are also people who are into health care and gym or fitness equipment business and they can also be seen from this placement as Virgo is a sign of health care and Saturn represents all tools and equipment made of iron, steel, and wood and gym equipment are also made of iron, steel, and wood.

5) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Leo in the 8th house then people like electronics and electrical engineers or electricians can be seen from this placement. This is because the sign of Leo represents light and heat and the 8th house is the house of going to the roots and in engineering, you go to the roots. People working with lighting and heating systems are most commonly seen from this placement such as the home appliances engineers.

If the 10th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Aries in the 4th house then such natives may also do stunts with vehicles which are often seen during a film shooting. But with Sun in Aries, in general, sports involving risk is also seen from this placement such as a vehicle race competition as Leo is a sign of recreational activities and sports is nothing but a recreational activity. There is a risk of an accident or injury also with this placement as the 8th house is a house of risks and turbulence. People often get an electric shock with this placement.

6) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 7th house then people working with food processing machines and people working with cloth manufacturing or food manufacturing machines and working with storage systems are generally seen from this placement.

People like furniture and bed manufacturers can also be seen from this placement as Cancer is a sign of comfort and so any item that is meant to give comfort to your physical body can be seen by the sign of Cancer. People like plumbers and people working with water systems such as water filtration systems can also be seen from this placement as Cancer is a sign that represents water and Saturn is a planet that represents all the automation equipment or machines.

Vehicles also give us comfort in travel and so people working with vehicles such as repairing or engineering of vehicles can also be seen from this placement. But this is more so if the 4th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Aries in the 4th house but other planets in the birth chart should also support for that. If Moon is placed in the sign of Leo in the 8th house then again home appliances engineers and repairers can be seen from this placement. People working with water tanks and home utensils and containers in the industrial sectors can also be seen from this placement.

7) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 6th house then people working with printing and photocopier equipment are generally seen from this placement as Gemini is a sign of printing and it also represents promotional items and so people engaged in the manufacturing of promotional items and stationery items such as pen, pencil, chart paper, books, etc can also be seen from this placement.

But this could also be the placement for people working with the gym and fitness equipment such as weight lifting. This is because Gemini represents our hands and shoulders and Saturn is a planet that represents weight. But this is more so possible if Sun and 6th lord Mercury are placed in the 9th house in the sign of Virgo.

People like railway engineers and civil engineers or railway workers can also be seen from this placement as Gemini is a sign of travel and so represents the railways, roads, and transportation as these are means of travel. Sportsmen can also be seen from this placement as the 6th house is also the house of sports competitions and Gemini is a sign of > skills of hands and Saturn represents all the tools used in sports.

8) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 5th house then this is the best placement for cooks and chefs as Taurus is a sign of cooked food and 5th house is the house of recreational activities and cooking is also a recreational activity as fire is involved in cooking and 5th house is ruled by Sun in the default zodiac and Sun is fire. Also, the 2nd house is food and the 5th house is the 4th from the 2nd house which means nurturing of food or serving of food.

People involved in stock and commodity trading are most commonly seen from this placement as Saturn represents commodities like oil, gas, iron, steel, petroleum, grains, metals such as gold, silver, copper, etc. Also, the 5th house is the house of speculation and Taurus is a sign that represents the financial assets of companies. So people working in the financial and marketing department of such companies (as mentioned above) can also be seen from this placement.

Also, Mars is a gambler as Mars rules the sign of Scorpio which is a sign of gambling and Mars is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 1st house. Again, sportsmen and athletes can also be seen from this placement. What kind of sports will again depend on the location of the 5th lord Venus in the birth chart.

9) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Aries in the 4th house then vehicle drivers are most commonly seen from this placement and these could also be construction vehicles and so people working as laborers on the construction sites and factories can also be seen from this placement. People running tractors for land cultivation can also be seen from this placement.

Saturn in Aries is considered debilitated but here there is an exchange of lords between the 1st house and the 4th house and so here Saturn cannot be considered as debilitated. Again people involved in vehicle races in sports can also be seen from this placement. Also, people like automobile engineers can also be seen from this placement as Aries represents the fuel energy and engines use fuel energy in vehicles.

10) If Mars is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Capricorn but if the lord of the 1st house, Saturn, is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 3rd house then people working in the marine industry and sportsmen (including athletes) can be seen from this placement. If Saturn is placed in the sign of Aquarius in the 2nd house then computer network engineers and aerospace engineers can be seen from this placement.
