What if 9th house lord is in 6th house for Aries Ascendant (Jupiter in 6th house)? (Vedic Astrology)

9th house lord in the 6th house, in general, is not considered good as the 6th house is the house of obstacles, problems, arguments, fights, and diseases. In fact, any planet in the 6th house will always give some kind of trouble. If the ascendant lord is placed in the 6th house then this is a risk to the physical self for injuries and health problems as the ascendant lord or the 1st house represents the physical self. But let’s discuss > 9th lord in 6th house for Aries ascendant.

For an Aries Ascendant, Jupiter rules the 9th house and it will fall in the sign of Virgo when placed in the 6th house. The 6th house is the house of practical work (or disputes) and it is not any recreational activity like sports or stage performance which the 5th house represents. Now when Jupiter is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house then disputes related to religion and law could happen in the life of the native during the dasa or anterdasa or pratyantradasa of Jupiter. This is because Jupiter is a planet of law and religion. So, people like lawyers may have this placement.

Court cases often happen with this placement. If Jupiter is Matrikarka (MK) then disputes and court cases related to land & property could also happen as MK represents the land and property. If Jupiter and Venus both are placed in the 6th house then dispute could happen in love and romance or relationships due to religion such as when you want to marry someone outside your own caste but parents don’t agree with this.

Jupiter is also a planet of rules and regulations and so disputes could also happen when it comes to breaking rules & regulations, such as when you break traffic rules then you could come in trouble with the government officials. If the 4th lord Moon is also placed in the 6th house along with Jupiter then people like traffic police are seen from this placement as they always deal with the disputes related to breaking of traffic rules and regulations. People like lawyers may also have this placement.

Rules and regulations are there in every field of life such as > health care rules and regulations < and so people such as health care regulators and drug inspectors may also have this placement as they check if the medicines produced are as per the govt. rules & regulations or not.

The 9th house is the house of exploration and here the 9th lord is placed in the 6th house of difficult work and when we combine both it means difficult work in exploration such as climbing mountains or hiking or trekking etc. When you go hiking or mountaineering then you are exploring nature and Jupiter represents nature.

If Saturn is also placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house along with Jupiter and if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the sign of Aries in the 1st house and if the ascendant lord Mars is placed in the 12th house in the sign of Pisces then such natives may even go for mountaineering or hiking & trekking. The sign of Pisces represents our feet and so when Mars is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 12th house then such natives put a lot of their energy and efforts into moving their feet (walking or running). So, what Jupiter will do in the 6th house will depend a lot on where the 6th lord Mercury and other planets are placed in the birth chart.

This placement > Jupiter in Virgo in the 6th house can also be seen in the birth chart of people who are working in the field of IT (information technology) as Jupiter is a planet that represents the virtual world as Jupiter rules the sign of Pisces which represents the virtual world. It is all virtual what you see on a computer screen over the internet and IT is all about working with the codes of programming which is a difficult work related to information and Virgo is a sign of difficulties and Jupiter is a planet of information and so Jupiter in Virgo for IT career makes sense.

People doing research in health care such as health care scientists may also have this placement as they do research on organisms that cannot be seen with the naked eye and can only be seen in the virtual world using a microscope. All the diseases are caused due to organisms present in the virtual world only and so the health care research also makes perfect sense for this placement as Jupiter is a planet of the virtual world. But research and IT work are more so possible if Saturn is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 12th house or the sign of Gemini in the 3rd house.

12th house and the sign of Pisces also represents our feet and since Jupiter rules the sign of Pisces so now when Jupiter is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house of work then such natives may work hard with their feet. For example, many truck drivers, taxi drivers, and auto-rickshaw drivers are all the time working with their feet (on brakes) and so they may also have this placement. But this is more so possible if Saturn and Mars are also placed in the 6th house along with Jupiter.

Also, there are many industrial workers who work a lot with their feet and they can also have this placement. For example, tailors work on cloth sewing machines and many of these machines are operated via feet and so such tailors can also be seen from this placement. Virgo or 6th house represents difficult work and so all difficult work is seen from the 6th house or the sign of Virgo.

If Mars is placed in the sign of Pisces then its 4th aspect falls on the sign of Gemini and Gemini represents our hands and shoulders and so when people like taxi drivers are putting their energy and efforts on their feet (on brakes) then they are also putting their energy and efforts on their hands (on steering wheels). This shows that when Mars is in Pisces it doesn’t mean the energy and efforts are being put on the feet only but the efforts are also going on hands and shoulders due to the 4th aspect of Mars.

Sometimes you do difficult work even while walking on your feet or legs. For example, many people do the labor job of pulling carts and luggage trolleys and here they are moving and also doing the difficult work of pulling and these people can also be seen from this placement of > Jupiter in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but this is more so possible if the ascendant lord, Mars, is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 9th house.

Mars in Sagittarius makes the physical body travel or move as Mars represents the physical self for an Aries ascendant and Sagittarius is a sign of travel. Many people physically work on agricultural lands (and also gardens) and they may also have this placement as Sagittarius is a sign that represents the crops, trees, plants, etc. Virgo is basically a sign of labor type of jobs which makes us work hard. Saturn in Virgo makes us work with tools made of iron and steel or even online tools such as Photoshop for designing work.

If Jupiter and Saturn both are placed in the 6th house in the sign of Virgo then people like fitness trainers can also be seen from this placement. Jupiter is an advisor or a trainer or a Guru and when Saturn is in Virgo it means difficult work related to gym equipment as Saturn represents all equipment made of iron and steel.

If the 4th lord Moon is placed in the 6th house along with Mars (asc lord) and Jupiter then this is not a good placement as it can give some kind of injury through vehicle accident as 6th house is the house of difficulties and injuries. This is more so possible if the 3rd lord Mercury is also placed in the 4th house as the 3rd lord in the 4th house is quite a placement for travel through the vehicle. Sports players (including athletes) are also most commonly seen from this placement.
