What if Saturn is in 6th house for Aries Ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)
This article is also valid for > 10th lord in 6th house and 11th lord in 6th house for Aries Ascendant.
Saturn will fall in the sign of Virgo when placed in the 6th house for Aries ascendant. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.
1) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house then there are a lot of chances for injuries in life such as fractures as Virgo is a sign of wounds and injuries and Saturn is the natural significator of bones and joints in our body and also 6th house is the house of difficulties. A fracture happens in bones and bones in our body are represented by the planet Saturn. The possibility of cervical pain is also there with this placement as cervical pain is generally caused due to the change or wear & tear in the bones, disc, or joints that are connected to the neck.
Injury or joint pain in the knee is also possible with this placement. If you are in sports with this placement then some kind of injury is likely with this placement as any planet in 6th house is never good as this is a house of difficulties and problems. Also, for an Aries ascendant Saturn rules the 10th house which represents the knees. But this kind of problem is more likely in the Saturn period (Mahadasha or Antardasha) and Mercury subperiod and especially when transits are also bad. For example, both Mars and Saturn aspecting the 6th house in transit. If the natal Mars is also either placed or aspecting the 6th house then this kind of problem is more likely.
2) 6th house (or Virgo) is also the house of repairing and servicing and when Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house then people who are into the repairing or servicing of vehicles such as scooters, cars, bikes, trucks, etc can be seen from this placement but this is more so possible if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 4th house and the 4th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 10th house.
6th house is actually a house of labor type of jobs and Saturn is also a planet of work so this placement makes the native work very hard and when you repair or manufacture vehicles then this is a very difficult job to do and a lot of physical work is involved. People working on food processing and cloth manufacturing machines may also have this placement as Cancer (or 4th house) is a sign that represents clothing, food, and vehicles.
Saturn represents all the machinery and tools (as Saturn is a planet that represents all things made of iron and steel) and Virgo is a sign of physical labor and when you work on machines to produce something then a lot of physical work is involved and so Saturn in Virgo is quite possible. Laborers working in the manufacturing unit of different industries are quite often seen from this placement as Saturn is a planet that represents the employees or the working class.
3) But Saturn in Virgo in the 6th house could also make you do work like video editing and film editing and that is more so possible if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house. So, it is not always so that Saturn in the 6th house will make you do labor jobs only in factories. It will depend a lot on where Mercury and other planets are placed in the chart. Video editing and film editing is quite a professional work where you can do the work while sitting in front of your computer but editing is still a difficult job as the overall theme of the sign of Virgo or the 6th house is still something that is difficult and makes you feel tired by doing that. Both Saturn and Mercury are technical planets and so the technical work is certainly possible with this placement.
4) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the 3rd house in the sign of Gemini then people doing repairing of communication equipment such as the musical instruments and telecom equipment or other communication systems are generally seen from this placement. This is because the sign of Gemini is a sign of communication but since here Saturn is placed in the sign of Mercury (Virgo) so communication becomes communication systems as Saturn is a planet that represents all systems (automation).
This is also a good placement for people who want to go into editing and proofreading (in writing) as Gemini is also a sign of writing. Musical instruments are based on sound and sound is nothing but a way of communication and so people involved in the repairing of sound systems or musical instruments can also be seen from this placement. But again, these are just the possibilities because a lot will also depend on the position of the ascendant lord Mars in the birth chart.
There are also people who are into the operating or repairing of printers, photocopiers, fax machines, telephones, etc and such people can also be seen from this placement as Gemini is a sign of printing and it is also a dual sign (copies). Also, there are people who are involved in all kinds of printing work such as business card printing, brochures printing, booklet printing, wedding cards printing, stickers printing, etc and such people can also be seen from this placement. People who are into the photography business and doing photo editing may also have this placement. People who are into the manufacturing of all kinds of promotional items, school supplies, and office supplies can also be seen from this placement as Gemini is a major sign of office supplies and school supplies. People typing on typewriters and computers are also seen from this placement.
5) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of Taurus then people doing difficult work related to arts and crafts such as embroidery, cloth sewing, and designing, weaving, jewelry making and designing, wooden basket making, pottery, sculpting, web designing, graphic designing, etc can be seen from this placement.
But people providing hairdressing and beauty services can also be seen from this placement. In other words, people working in a salon may have this placement. Virgo (or 6th house) is a sign of service and Taurus is a sign of beauty and so these things are possible. People involved in cooking are also seen from this placement as Virgo is a sign of service and Taurus is a sign of food and so it becomes food service in a restaurant or a hotel.
6) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Aries then people doing difficult work while moving are generally seen from this placement. For example, luggage pickers at the railway stations or airports or people working in warehouses and delivering goods by pushing carts and trolleys are generally seen from this placement. Aries is a sign that makes us move and Mercury represents our hands and shoulders and so people doing the pushing and pulling jobs by hands may also have this placement.
When you push and pull you make things move using your hands and Aries is a sign of movement and efforts. All these are difficult work (Virgo or 6th house) and moving work (Aries) at the same time and so makes perfect sense for this placement. Vehicle drivers may also have this placement as their hands and shoulders are also all the time moving on the steering wheel. Laborers working at construction sites may also have this placement as they put a lot of effort with their hands to pick things up and drop somewhere else.
Even sportsmen may also have this placement as there are many sports where the skills of hands are involved such as tennis and basketball and a lot of movement of hands and shoulders is there in these sports and even throwing athletic sports can be seen from this placement as when you throw then you put a lot of energy and efforts on your hands. But again, a lot will depend on the position of the ascendant lord Mars in the birth chart so look for that and also look at the other planets for the exact profession.
7) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the 12th house in the sign of Pisces then people working in the cotton industry are generally seen from this placement such cotton clothes, beds, and mattresses, carpets, rugs, raw cotton, socks, bed sheets, woolen clothes (such as sweaters), cotton silk sarees, etc. Cotton is very soft and delicate and so represented by the sign of Pisces just like a fish as a fish is very soft and delicate and a fish is also represented by the sign of Pisces. Footwear is also seen by the sign of Pisces as Pisces represents our feet and so people working in the footwear industry may also have this placement.
People doing weaving and sewing work for cotton products (such as pillows, cotton clothing, etc) are generally seen from this placement. People working with their hands to produce herbal and spiritual products can also be seen from this placement. People working in the manufacturing units of health care products such as capsules can also be seen from this placement as capsules are also very delicate and so represented by the sign of Pisces.
People selling eggs on the streets or working in a poultry farm may also have this placement as eggs are represented by the sign of Pisces. All white things are represented by the sign of Pisces and this could even be a dhoti or a lungi or a pajama. Fishermen can also be seen from this placement as fishes are also seen by the sign of Pisces. In general, people working with sea creatures can be seen from this placement.
But again, a lot will depend on where Jupiter (lord of Pisces) is placed in the birth chart. For example, if Jupiter is placed in the sign of Aries then such natives may be involved in some sports where you throw something such as discus throw, hammer throw, javelin throw, shot put, etc. This is because Aries is a sign of aggression or energy and here you show your aggression via hands as Mercury (representing hands) is in Pisces and lord of Pisces, Jupiter, is in Aries. If Jupiter is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 2nd house then cooks can also be seen from this placement.
8) If Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house but if the 6th lord Mercury is placed in the 11th house in the sign of Aquarius then all kinds of engineers and IT services providers are generally seen from this placement as Aquarius is a sign of engineering and networking. Computer hardware can also be seen from this placement.
