What if Venus is in 2nd house for a Sagittarius ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

Venus will fall in the sign of Capricorn when placed in the 2nd house for a Sagittarius ascendant. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.

1) Capricorn is a sign of automation & digitization and Venus is a planet of designing and so people involved in digital designing such as graphic designing, website designing, mobile app designing, etc. can be seen from this placement. Digital designing is not possible without writing codes of programming and so programmers can also be seen from this placement. Basically, people working in the field of IT (information technology) may have this placement.

When you write codes then that is Scorpio (Mars) as Scorpio is a sign of going to the roots of something and that is the reason Scorpio and Taurus go hand-in-hand. Writing codes is Scorpio and the design thus created is Venus (Taurus). When you visit a website then all the designing work you see on the website is > Venus. Now simply right-click on that website and then select “view source” and all the coding you see there is nothing but Scorpio or Mars.

2) Capricorn is a sign of automation or machines and Venus is a planet of food and so people working with food processing machines may also have this placement. In cooking also, we use a gas stove which is also nothing but a machine and so cooks and chefs may also have this placement and this is more so possible if the 2nd house lord Saturn is placed in the 8th house in the sign of Cancer. People working with the food and cloth manufacturing machines are most commonly seen from this placement as clothes are also seen by the planet Venus and Capricorn is a sign that represents machinery and tools and the 8th house is the house of conversion or transformation. You can start with the cloth and food manufacturing business if you have this placement.

3) People who are making use of sewing machines to sew clothes (tailors) may also have this placement as here again we are using a machine to sew clothes and Venus represents clothing. This is more so possible if the 2nd house lord Saturn is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 6th house of difficult work. When we sew clothes using a sewing machine then this is a very minute and difficult work and anything difficult & detail-oriented work is represented by the 6th house. But the ascendant lord Jupiter must also be placed in the 2nd house along with Venus for this kind of work.

4) If a Sagittarius man has this placement of > Venus in the 2nd house in the sign of Capricorn then his spouse could be a housewife (or cook) or she could work in the field of IT (automation). This is because Venus represents the spouse in a man’s chart.

5) There are many people who are into the repairing or engineering of IT products such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, etc and they may also have this placement of > Venus in the sign of Capricorn in the 2nd house but their 2nd lord Saturn is usually seen in the sign of Virgo in the 10th house as Virgo is a sign of repairing & servicing. People who are working in the manufacturing units of IT products (as mentioned above) often have this placement and they are generally the engineers of electronics and electrical items. We can call computers and laptops as electronic items also as electricity or battery is used to run them. But electronic items, in general, are also possible. People making automated programs on computers (IT) and also people making robots may also have this placement.

People who are somehow involved in fitness and gym equipment may also have this placement. Either they may be running a Gym or fitness center or they may be involved in the manufacturing of health care and gym equipment. This is because Virgo is a sign of difficulties and when Saturn is placed in the sign of Virgo then the difficulty could be related to weight as all weights are made of iron and steel and Saturn represents all things made of iron and steel.

6) If Venus is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of Capricorn but if the 2nd house lord Saturn is placed in the sign of Leo in the 9th house, then people involved in the manufacturing of religious supplies such as temples made of iron or wood, brass bell, God statues (made of iron, steel, & wood), yantras, stones, gold & silver coins, gemstones, jewelry, etc may have this placement. This is because Leo is a sign of worship and Saturn represents the metals. People involved in the trading of metals & commodities may also have this placement.

This placement, however, could make the native very strict when it comes to religious practices and they cannot tolerate any lack of attention (or mistake) when it comes to worshipping God. Saturn in Leo could also make the native very much egoistical and he/she may be very much obsessed about his/her own belief system. This may even lead to religious fights.

This placement is also seen in the birth chart of people who are involved in cinematography such as film shooting or film & video editing. Saturn is a technical planet and so people handling all the technical aspects of film shooting are generally seen from this placement as Leo is a sign of being in the limelight. People working with photography or photography equipment may also have this placement. Photography is more so possible if the 9th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house.

People who are into the exploration of light and heat, such as aerospace engineers, may also have this placement as the 9th house is the house of exploration and Leo is a sign of heat and light. People involved in astronomy, astrophysics, and weather forecasting may also have this placement. People associated with all the machinery and equipment related to solar radiations may also have this placement. Solar panels engineers may also have this placement.

7) If Venus is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of Capricorn but if the 2nd house lord Saturn is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 12th house, then people like butchers and serial killers may be seen from this placement. This is because Scorpio is a sign of death and the 12th house is also the house of endings and Saturn represents tools like knives or swords or any other tool made of iron and steel and butchers make use of such tools to cut animals to get their meat. People carrying out surgical operations like doctors and nurses may also have this placement.

In the olden days, people like hunters used to have this placement as hunters also kill animals as Scorpio is a sign of killing. Butchers are more so possible if the ascendant lord Jupiter is placed in the sign of Capricorn along with Venus in the 2nd house as debilitated Jupiter often makes butchers and killers. Hairdressers and beauticians are also found to have this placement as they use tools like a scissor to cut hairs and a scissor is an iron tool represented by the sign of Capricorn or Saturn and Venus is a planet of beauty.

10) If Venus is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of Capricorn but if the 2nd house lord Saturn is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house, then people involved in the manufacturing or trading of printing & stationery & promotional items such as stickers, posters, calendars, office supplies such as fax machines, photocopiers, etc can be seen from this placement. People who are into the manufacturing or trading of sound systems such as speakers, microphones, music systems, etc can also be seen from this placement. People involved in t-shirt printing may also have this placement.

11) Lawyers and sportsmen can also be seen from this placement especially if the 2nd lord Saturn is placed in the sign of Libra in the 11th house and for sports, if Saturn is placed in the sign of Aries in the 5th house. People who are into stock trading and other speculative business may also be seen if Saturn is placed in the 5th house in the sign of Aries.
