What if Mars is in 5th house for Aries Ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

For an Aries ascendant Mars rules the 1st house and the 8th house and will fall in the sign of Leo when placed in the 5th house. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.

1) Leo is a sign of our fun & entertainment and Mars is a planet of putting energy and effort. For example, when you are involved in mating (sexual relationship) then you put or spend a lot of energy and effort for having fun with sex and if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 3rd house, then such natives could spend a lot of their energy in mating or masturbating. This is because Gemini is a sign of mating & masturbating. From this, we can conclude that Mars in Leo could make the native extremely sexual and for an Aries ascendant Mars also rules the 8th house of sexual parts (Scorpio).

If the 7th lord Venus is also placed in the 5th house along with Mars, then such natives could also have multiple relationships (just one of the possibilities and don’t take anything for granted in astrology). This is because the 7th house is the house of relationships and the 7th lord Venus is placed 11th from the 7th house and anything 11th is multiple or group or collective. With Mars-Venus conjunction in the 5th house, it could also bring love marriage as Leo (or 5th house) is also a sign of love and romance and Venus is a planet of relationships.

2) Mars is fuel and Leo (or Sun) is fire and so it is like fuel in the fire when Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house. 5th house is also the house of recreational activities and so people doing recreational activities with fuel and fire may also have this placement. You might have seen a campfire used during camping and these natives may use such campfires a lot for cooking. So, this placement is also good for cooking as cooking is also a recreational activity.

3) People engaged in fire management and fire control may also have this placement. People working with fire extinguishers may also have this placement. But this is more so possible if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house as Scorpio is a very risky sign and fire is also a risk as it may burn others. People working in the melting industry may also have this placement as Scorpio is also a sign of melting and fire is used in melting.

4) If Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house and if the 5th lord, Sun, is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 4th house, and if the 4th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house, then there is a chance of fire burn in the clothing or food factory of the native. I mean the fire may damage the property of the native as Cancer is a sign that represents the food & clothing & shelters and Sun represents the fire and Mars represents the fuel. The person may also work in the fire or fuel factory with this placement (such as fire chemicals or firecrackers).

5) If Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house and if the 5th lord, Sun, is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 4th house then such natives could also work with the water heaters, boilers, and solar water heaters as Cancer is a sign that represents the water and 4th house also represents the storage systems or containers. A lot of people work with the boiling water in textile and garment yarn dyeing factories and such people may also have this placement.

6) Electricians (or electrical engineers) may also have this placement of > Mars in the sign of Leo in the 5th house < as Leo is also a sign of light and lighting as Sun or the sign of Leo represents the light. If Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house, then the native may also face electric shock on his body as Scorpio is a sign of risks and emergency and in electric current, there is a lot of risks involved. If Saturn is also placed in the sign of Leo or Scorpio, then people involved in welding and melting work can also be seen from this placement. This is because Saturn represents all the tools made of iron and steel and wood and Scorpio is a sign of melting.

7) People involved in all kinds of sports and stunts are most commonly seen from this placement. This is because Leo is a sign of recreational activities and sport is also a recreational activity. This is more so possible if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Aries in the 1st house.

8) Leo is a sign of fun and fun could also be generated using musical instruments (like harmonium) in the form of musical sound and sound is seen by the sign of Gemini. This is because Leo is a sign of fire and Sagittarius is a sign of religious activities. Such natives could also be pandits in temples. But this placement is also good for making documentary films on wildlife animals and agriculture, as Leo is also a sign of films, and Sagittarius is a sign of exploration. People exploring jungles for photography may also have this placement.

10) If Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house but if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Libra in the 7th house, then such natives could be involved in stock marketing trading as Leo is also a sign of speculation and Libra is a sign of buying and selling. But here the Sun is debilitated so could spoil the relationships with the spouse or girlfriend or may result in multiple relationships. But this is just a possibility and don’t take anything for granted. Leo is a sign of love and romance and Libra is a sign of relationships so it becomes love and romance in relationships. But since Mars is placed in the sign of Leo it could also result in sexual relationships as Mars represents our sexuality. Again, don’t take anything for granted as this is just a possibility.

11) The physical body becomes at the risk of burning from fire if the ascendant lord (representing the physical self) Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house and if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house. This is because the sign of Scorpio or 8th house is very risky and Sun represents the fire and so it becomes risk with the fire. People working in the coal, mining, & melting industries are often at risk as they play with the fire and boiling water all the time.

This placement could also produce sexual lust as Scorpio is quite a magnetic sign (and also the sign of death) and Sun is a planet of fun and entertainment. If Venus is also placed in the sign of Leo, then it becomes more so. People doing a lot of welding or soldering work may also have this placement especially if Saturn is placed in the sign of Scorpio along with the Sun. If this same placement is happening in the transit, then some fire incidents may occur at someplace and people may get burned and especially those who have this same placement in their birth chart.

12) If Mars is placed in the sign of Leo in the 5th house but if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 6th house, then such natives could do the job of film editing or video editing as Virgo is a sign of practical work and films and videos give us limelight and Sun is also a planet of being in the limelight and so the planet Sun also represents videos and films. A lot of detail-oriented work is involved in film or video editing and Virgo is also a sign of detail-oriented work. But again, this is just one of the possibilities and other planets in the birth chart need to support that. Sun is also a planet that represents our liver and so liver problems are also likely with this placement as Virgo is also a sign of difficulties and diseases.

13) People who are into the marketing of businesses are also seen from this placement of > Mars in the sign of Leo in the 5th house especially if the 5th lord Sun is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 4th house. Leo is a sign of name and fame and when you do marketing of products then you increase the name and fame of those products. The sign of Cancer is quite related to clothing & food and also home and real estate. But this placement is also good for acting, singing, dance, music, arts, decoration, beauty, fashion, brand management, etc. Leo is also a sign that represents the brand. Fashion and brand management and marketing of clothing business are also possible if Sun is placed in the sign of Taurus in the 2nd house.
