What if Sun is in Scorpio in 4th house for Leo ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

There are several possibilities with this placement of Sun in Scorpio in 4th house and here are some of them.

1) Sun is a planet of reputation or image and Scorpio is a sign of spoiling (or ruining) and so it could spoil the reputation or image of the native with this placement. If the native is an actor, then he/she could play the image of a bad character in the movie. Not everyone can be a hero or a good character in a movie. The ascendant Leo or Sun itself is good for limelight and attention but when Sun falls in the sign of Scorpio it is more of an attention with a bad image such as a villain in a movie. Also, the 4th house is the house of working with your emotions and in acting, you work with your emotions. The default ruler of the 4th house is Moon (in the natural zodiac) and Moon has to do with emotions and nurturing.

2) Not only the bad image but Sun in Scorpio could also give insult as Scorpio is a very negative sign and it is a sign of plunge or sink and Sun is image or reputation or name & fame and so the image or reputation or goodwill of the native could plunge or sink. If in this life you are destined to get a bad image or bad reputation then you could get Leo as your ascendant as the ascendant says about your character and health. If you are a Leo ascendant you will always be in limelight in the community or the world whether in a good way or bad way (depending on the location of Sun in the birth chart).

3) If Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house but if the 4th lord Mars is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house, then such natives could also become swimmers or someone who dives into the sea. This is more so possible if the 12th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 8th house. While swimming you put your energy or vitality (Sun represents our vitality) in diving into the water and Cancer is a sign of water (Mars in Cancer) and the sign of Scorpio is a sign of plunge or dive or turbulence and in swimming, there is a lot of turbulence (ups and downs). Pisces is a sign that represents the sea and Moon in Pisces people could also dive into the sea. Also, Mars rules the 9th house for a Leo ascendant and the 9th house is the house of exploration, and swimming or diving is also something that is an exploration in the water.

4) If Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house but if the 4th lord Mars is placed in the sign of Pisces in the 8th house, then all kinds of sportsmen can be seen from this placement as in sports there is a lot of turbulence and Scorpio is also a sign of turbulence and 8th house is also the house of turbulence and risk-taking. For example, people who jump from an airplane or helicopter using a parachute are risk takers (Scorpio is a risky sign) and while jumping there is a lot of turbulence and also the sky is represented by the sign of Pisces, and Mars is placed in this sign in the 8th house. Basically, people who are into recreational activities can be seen from this placement as Sun itself is a planet of recreational activities and it is the ascendant of the native.

5) Leo ascendant people are often risk-takers as they are very bold people who are mostly not afraid of anything and so they are also not afraid to take risks such as jumping from the sky using a parachute or diving into the sea or even climbing a mountain but this is more so possible if Moon is strong in the chart such as Moon in the 12th house or in the sign of Pisces in the 8th house. Moon or the sign of Cancer represents our heart and for a Leo ascendant the sign of Cancer falls in the 12th house of spirituality and so they are very strong by heart as Pisces or 12th house is spiritual energy. And that is the reason they are not afraid to take risks as they are bold by nature. Boldness is in their DNA just like a lion or tiger.

But Leo ascendants are also the most humble people unless Saturn is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Leo. The planet Sun gives you humbleness and if your Sun is strong, you will be very humble and for Leo ascendants, this is more so as it is their ascendant. For any individual his/her ascendant is always strong unless afflicted. Sun rules our forehead where the ego develops and when Sun is strong there is no ego which means humbleness.

6) Health care practitioners such as radiographers and radiologists who conduct and interpret x-rays can also be seen from this placement of > Sun in the sign of Scorpio. X-rays are used to get a picture of the bones and heart in order to see if there is any fracture in the bones or some problem in the heart. Rays are nothing but light which is obtained from the Sun and if your ascendant lord is Sun then you could certainly be involved in doing something related to x-rays and even ultraviolet rays.

Certain skin disorders are cured using ultra-violet rays. Scorpio is a sign of going to the roots and when you carry out x-rays or perform surgeries or operations then you go to the roots of the body such as teeth, heart, body x-ray, bones, etc. Saturn represents the skeleton in the body. Scorpio represents surgeries or operations because Scorpio is a sign of killing & penetration. Killing is nothing but using some tool to cut something. People with Saturn in Scorpio often become surgical doctors or butchers or even murderers.

7) Engineers and workers who are working in the welding, soldering, boiling, and melting industries may also have this placement as all these professions involve fire, and Sun is known for fire also and Sun is the ascendant lord and ascendant itself tells the purpose of life. Scorpio is also a sign of transformation. For example, when you melt something to produce something else then that is nothing but transformation. For example, iron is melted in a blast furnace and the resultant molten iron is used to produce steel. Sun in Scorpio people often work with the fire as using the fire they transform and Scorpio is also a sign of transformation.

8) Sun in Scorpio is however a risky placement as it can cause electric shocks or fire burns in the body. This is because Scorpio is a sign of risks and electric current is also a risk and working with fire is also a risk as fire can burn. People involved in fire-fighting and electricians may also have this placement.

9) When you do risk-taking recreational activities such as doing stunts with vehicles in movies or sports events then also this placement can be seen as Sun is a planet of recreational activities and Scorpio is a sign of risks.

10) If Venus and Sun both are placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house then this could also result in hidden sexual relationships but this is just one of the possibilities and don’t take anything for granted as other planets in the birth chart also need to be analyzed. This is more so if Mars, lord of the 4th house, is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 12th house (of bedroom life) and the 12th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house along with Venus and Sun. This is because Scorpio is also a hidden or secretive sign and Venus is a planet of relationships and so it becomes secret or hidden relationships and Sun is a planet of fun and entertainment. But this is more so if Mars or Moon are either Darakarka (DK) or Bhatrikarka(BK). DK is a relationship and BK is mating. The person with debilitated Mars often loses dignity and morality especially if Moon is also debilitated.

But people like singers (and players of musical instruments) may also have their Venus and Sun placed in the 4th house especially if Mars is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 11th house and Saturn is placed in the 3rd house in Libra. Venus is a planet of sensual pleasures and when Venus is in Scorpio it could also mean going deep in pleasure and in singing and while playing the musical instruments you generate that deep pleasure.

11) People like astronomers and occultists can also be seen from this placement of > Sun in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house. Many astrologers have this placement as Sun is also a planet that represents the ancient texts and Sun is also the future (Moon is past) and astrology also tell about the future. This is because Scorpio is also a sign of research and investigation.

12) People may also do a lot of spiritual practices (such as mantras and havan) with this placement of Sun in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house especially if Mars, lord of 4th house, is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 5th house. This is because Sagittarius is a religious sign and the 5th house is also known for spiritual practices. But this could also be the placement for sportsmen and athletes.

13) If Sun is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 4th house then the native could also create or deal in a business related to clothing or t-shirts with dreadful and fearful things printed on them such as dynasores, reptiles, snakes, ghosts, spirits, etc. This is because Scorpio is a sign that represents all the dreadful and fearful things and Sun represents the brands. People doing the business of chemicals & fertilizers (such as insecticides & pesticides) and insect killer products may also have this placement. This is because Scorpio is a sign of killing.

14) The early death of the father is also possible with this placement as Sun represents the father in Vedic astrology and Scorpio is a sign of death.
