What if Venus is in 8th house in Scorpio for Aries Ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

This article is also valid for > 7th lord in the 8th house for Aries Ascendant.

For Aries ascendant Venus rules the 7th house and it will fall in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.

1) Venus is a planet of relationships and Scorpio is a sign of sex and so it simply means a lot of sexual relationships and if Venus is afflicted in the chart, it could even give sexual diseases to the native such as piles and hernia. 2) If Mars and Saturn are placed in the 7th house (considering Venus is still placed in the 8th house) and if they are afflicted then it could also give fertility problems to the native. If this is the chart of a girl or woman's uterus (mother’s womb) problem could also occur. This placement is not much good when it comes to health.

If Venus is Darakarka (DK) and if Mars, ruler of the 8th house, is Gnatikarka (GK) then fertility and uterus problems are more likely. This is because DK has to do with the sign of Libra and Libra represents Swadisthana chakra and Swadithana chakra controls the functioning of the liver, pancreas, spleen, uterus, intestines, ovaries, and metabolism. GK carries the energy of the 6th house of diseases. But unless Venus and Mars are afflicted in the chart such problems are not likely.

3) If Venus is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 8th house but if the 8th lord Mars is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 9th house this placement is good for doing business or working with chemicals, fertilizers like insecticides and pesticides, honey bees, pest control, petroleum products, oil, commodities, tea, luxury items such as goods obtained from the skin of animals such as leather products, ivory, woolen products such as woolen clothes, animal teeth products, etc. Scorpio is a sign of killing and Sagittarius is a sign that represents the natural resources and so when you kill animals and obtain natural resources from them then this placement can be seen.

People working in the iron, steel, and melting industries may also have this placement.

Scorpio is a sign of transformation. When you melt something, you do this to convert something to something else such as melting iron to produce steel products. Basically, you should work with machinery and tools as an engineer or as an employee in a manufacturing unit with this placement as Capricorn and 10th house both represents the machines or automation. It could even be a food or agricultural products processing unit. If Saturn is in Aries in the 1st house you could also work with the construction vehicles with this placement. A vehicle is also a moving machine represented by Saturn or the sign of Capricorn.
