What if Ketu is in 7th house for Sagittarius Ascendant? (Vedic Astrology)

Ketu will fall in the sign of Gemini when placed in the 7th house for Sagittarius ascendant people. There are several possibilities with this placement and here are some of them.

1) When Ketu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house the native becomes quite individualistic and doesn’t take much interest in making relationships with other people or interacting with other people. This is because Ketu is a planet of ignorance and so mostly, the native ignores making relationships and interacting with other people. But this is not always so and you will get to know this as you read more > as below. This is because a lot will also depend on the placement of other planets in the birth chart.

For example, if you are busy acquiring knowledge and information or busy doing some research on a particular subject then you hardly find time to interact with other people. When Rahu is in Sagittarius it could get you obsessed (as Rahu is an obsession) about acquiring knowledge and information (the sign of Sagittarius is also about > knowledge and information) and then you don’t find enough time to make relationships or interact with other people such as relatives and friends. That is the reason, it is possible that Ketu in the 7th house could get you ignorant about relationships.

2) Ketu is also the natural significator of the 8th house of turbulence (ups and downs) and Gemini is a sign of travel and so it could also bring a lot of ups and downs in travel when Ketu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house. Rahu in Sagittarius in the 1st house is not always about > acquiring knowledge and information but Sagittarius is also a sign of exploration and there are different ways to explore the world and one of them is also traveling.

Now, when you want to explore the world, you will need to visit different places and that will bring a lot of up and down in travel and this is what it means when I said Ketu could bring a lot of up and down in travel when it is placed in the sign of Gemini. For example, Rahu in Sagittarius in the 1st house could even make you a vehicle driver (such as a taxi driver or truck driver) and the life of a vehicle driver is all about ups and downs in travel as they travel to different places.

3) Gemini is also a sign of trade and Ketu in the sign of Gemini could also bring a lot of change in your trades as Ketu is also a planet of change as Ketu is the natural significator of the 8th house of change or transformation. For example, many people do intraday stock trading in stock markets and they buy and sell different stocks throughout the day (the time when stock markets are live) and this is called a change in the trade or up and down in the trade. Some people have their Rahu placed in the 1st house in the sign of Sagittarius but their 1st house lord Jupiter is placed in the 5th house of speculation (such as stock trading, commodity trading, and currency trading) and people with this kind of placement usually trade a lot.

4) Since Ketu is a planet of change so it could also bring a change in relationship or change of sexual partner when Ketu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house of relationship and interaction. There are many people on this earth who go to prostitutes and these kinds of people have relationships with many partners (multiple relationships).

So, this is what Ketu can also do in the 7th house but this is more so if the ascendant lord Jupiter and the 7th lord Mercury are placed in the 5th house of love and romance and if the 5th lord Mars is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 12th house of sleep and bedroom life. Also, the 5th house is 11th from the 7th house and anything 11th is multiple (in a group or collectivity). So the 7th lord in the 5th house often makes multiple romantic relationships.

5) If Ketu is highly afflicted and if it falls under DZ and if Ketu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house and if the 7th lord Mercury is placed in the sign of Scorpio in the 12th house it could also give sexual problems or sexual diseases or even mating problems as Mercury is also a planet of mating. 6) There are many people (or employees) on this earth who on daily basis operate industrial machines such as they operate oil refinery machines, paper mill machines, textile mill machines, etc. On the streets also, sometimes you can see people selling sugarcane juice which is extracted by operating a sugarcane juice extractor machine. Such people are obsessed with making money by selling sugarcane juice (gane ka rass) and sugarcane is also represented by the sign of Sagittarius as Sagittarius is a sign that represents all the natural resources obtained from plants, trees, and crops.

So, Rahu in the sign of Sagittarius in the 1st house could also get you obsessed with making money by selling juice extracted from a machine (especially if the ascendant lord Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 8th house) and for that you need to operate the machine and this will bring a lot of ups and downs in the skills of your hands as Ketu is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house and Gemini is also a sign that represents our skills of hands.

When you work too hard with such machines then it brings problems in your Swadisthana chakra and the 7th house represents the swadisthana chakra and so Ketu in the 7th house becomes malefic to Swadisthana chakra. Swadisthana chakra controls > the liver, kidneys, pancreas, intestines, ovaries, spleen, uterus, etc and so problems related to these body organs come when Swadisthana chakra is not working properly (when Ketu is placed in the 7th house).

You could certainly operate a sugarcane juice extractor machine if Rahu is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Sagittarius and if the 1st house lord Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 8th house and if the 8th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Capricorn in the 2nd house. Capricorn is a sign that represents all the machinery and tools and the Cancer sign represents all the liquids such as juice or milk or water. But Venus must also be placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 1st house for that or the sign of Cancer in the 8th house. Swadisthana chakra is the major chakra that is badly affected by hard physical work.

7) To give you another example when you swim in a swimming pool or a river this is also nothing but water exploration (Sagittarius is a sign of exploration and Rahu is placed in it) and also swimming is made possible by your skills of hands and there is a lot of up and down (or change) on your hands when you swim and Ketu is also a planet of change (up and down) as Ketu is the natural significator of the 8th house of turbulence & change. Now when you do swimming in excess your hands and shoulders could also be affected and this is what Ketu does in the sign of Gemini in the 7th house when Ketu is afflicted.

If Rahu is placed in the sign of Sagittarius in the 1st house and if the 1st lord Jupiter is placed in the sign of Cancer in the 8th house and if the 8th lord Moon is placed in the sign of Aries in the 5th house then swimming career becomes also possible.
