Moon in different houses for a Leo Ascendant

If you see > the sign of Cancer falls on the 12th house of isolation and spirituality for a Leo Ascendant. The sign of Cancer represents our soul while the sign of Leo represents the fun and entertainment or enjoyment of our soul. What we call ourselves as "I" or "me" is nothing but the sign of Cancer or our soul. So, in a way, the soul (or mind) of a Leo Ascendant is in spirituality or isolation and that is the reason they are lost in this life as they don't have any interest in the materialistic things of life. They are more interested in spirituality and doing something alone such as research work.

Usually, you will find Leo Ascendant enjoying themselves in loneliness through music, dance and television programs. Or they could even be scientists and researchers working in isolation in laboratories. Many of them are engineers and programmers and mostly spending time on computers from behind the scenes. When you work from behind the scenes on computers that is also isolation. Also, you could find them on a throne (leadership position) in some company or the government where you could find them working alone in a cabin. Leo Ascendants are very private people (and extremely romantic as Leo is also a sign of love and romance) but a lot will depend on the position of Moon in the birth chart so let's see that.

Case 1: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 1st house in the sign of Leo then with this placement the mind does some creative work in isolation such as video or photo editing and even engineering depending on the location of Sun, ruler of 1st house. For example, if Sun is placed in the 6th house in the sign of Capricorn the native could do electronics engineering and if Sun is placed in the sign of Aquarius in the 7th house then the native could be involved in computer network engineering if Saturn is placed in the 11th house or 7th house. If Sun is placed in the sign of Gemini in the 11th house the native could work in the field of information technology (IT) or they could be a writer as Gemini is a sign of writing. But since Leo is a sign of fun and entertainment they could also be involved in some profession related to fun and entertainment such as working in a film or television crew.

Case 2: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of Virgo then here the mind could be doing some detail-oriented work (or some competitive work) in isolation depending on the location of Mercury, ruler of 2nd house, in the birth chart as Virgo is a sign of detail-oriented work or difficulties and competition. If Mercury is also placed in the 2nd house along with Moon and if Venus (default ruler of 2nd house) is placed in the 10th house in the sign of Taurus then the native could be an accountant or a cashier in a bank with this placement as Taurus is a sign that represents finances and 10th house is the house of work. So check for 2nd house lord and the default ruler of 2nd house where they are placed to get the results of Moon in the sign of Virgo in the 2nd house for a Leo Ascendant.

If Moon is in 2nd house and 2nd house lord, Mercury, is placed in the 3rd house in the sign of Libra then with this placement you could do marketing and advertising of materialistic products of the 2nd house such as clothing, food, finances, fashion items, etc. as 2nd house is the house of marketing and advertising. Usually, these are businessmen. But the native could also be a doctor or health care practitioner if Mercury is placed in the 4th house in the sign of Scorpio.

Case 3: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 3rd house in the sign of Libra then here the mind, in isolation, is more interested in making relationships through communication as Libra is a sign of relationships. Libra is not a sign of detail-oriented work (such as calculations) but this is a more of a sign to resolve something. For example, through communication when you resolve someone's query then this is also an example of Moon in the sign of Libra in the 3rd house as 3rd house in the house of communication.

There are many professions related to customer care (online or offline) where you resolve people's queries regarding something. But again, a lot will depend on the position of Venus (ruler of 3rd house) and Mercury (default ruler of 3rd house) in the birth chart. This is often the placement where you meet other people and take their interview and communicate with them and ask about them or related to their profession and publish. So journalists and people in the media usually have this placement.

Case 4: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 4th house in the sign of Scorpio then this placement is not considered good especially if Saturn and Rahu are conjuncting (or aspecting) Moon with close degrees or if 8th house lord, Jupiter, is conjuncting or aspecting Moon. Such kind of placement may give mental problems as you may be possessed by some dead spirit but ascendant lord, Sun, must also conjunct Moon and Jupiter for that to happen. If Moon is alone and there are no aspects or conjunction by malefic planets then there will not be any such problem. But if Moon is debilitated (placed at the debilitated degree in the sign of Scorpio) then there could be a lot of turbulence in the mind regarding some matter in your life. Also, if malefic planets like Saturn and Mars are placed in the 12th house in the sign of Cancer and then if Moon is placed in the sign of Scorpio then it creates real problem related to mind otherwise not.

In terms of profession, this placement is seen in Leo Ascendant people who are into research and investigation and the type of research and investigation depends on the location of Mars, ruler of Scorpio, in the birth chart. For example, If Mars is placed in the sign of Virgo in the 2nd house then you could be a scientist in health care. But mostly, nurses, doctors, physical therapists, psychotherapists, personal coaches, actors, cooks, etc are seen from this placement. Basically, careers related to highly sensitive people are seen from this placement.

Case 5: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 5th house in the sign of Sagittarius then Sagittarius is a sign of rules, regulations, law, higher knowledge, religion, philosophy, etc and 5th house is the house of fun and entertainment. Now when you apply law, rules, and regulations in fun and entertainment then this placement is seen. Therefore, people who are the regulatory authorities in sports, cinema, theatre, television, etc are seen from this placement such as sports referees, sports coaches, film directors, choreographers, dance, singing and music teachers, judges of reality shows, priests, fitness trainers, yoga teachers, yoga gurus, lawyers, etc. If Jupiter and Sun are placed in the 10th house then a government post is also possible with this placement.

Case 6: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 6th house in the sign of Capricorn then Capricorn is a sign of government, politics, status, authority, tools, machines, etc and 6th house is the house of diseases, debts, arguments, fights, difficulties, competitions, etc. So people who are fighting for status such as people who play sports can be seen from this placement as the mind here needs the status in competitions as Moon is in the sign of Capricorn.

There are also people who are teachers of political science or even science and they can also be seen from this placement as the mind is in discussion related to politics and government and discussions or arguments are represents by the 6th house or the sign of Virgo. But since the sign of Capricorn also represents machines and so people working on machines (or with tools) such as engineers and factory workers in different industries can also be seen from this placement.

Case 7: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 7th house in the sign of Aquarius then here the mind is in the public or the masses or the networks as the sign of Aquarius represents all these things. 7th house is the house of making relationships, partnerships, and contracts and it is also the house of resolving and one-to-one interaction. So, generally, this placement is seen in people whose mind is all the time into dealing with the public or the masses and these could also be the employees if you are into HR (human resource) management or so-called employee management.

But since the sign of Aquarius also represents the networks so people whose mind is all the time into making networks such as computer networks, food networks, vehicle networks, business networks, health care networks, etc can also be seen from this placement. Aerospace engineers can also be seen from this placement if other planets in the birth chart are supportive as they make satellite networks. Any engineering where networking is involved can be seen from this placement.

Case 8: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 8th house in the sign of Pisces then here the mind of the native is lost in the world of spirituality as Pisces is a sign of spirituality. Spirituality here doesn't mean religion but it means going to the roots of everything as 8th house is all about going to the roots or the source. So scientists are most commonly seen from this placement but there are also people like surgical doctors and even engineers and programmers who go to the roots in their respective fields. A surgical doctor has to perform surgery and when you do the surgery you go to the roots by digging into the patient's body. But 8th house is also the house of occult science and paranormal and so people involved in these can also be seen from this placement.

Case 9: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 9th house in the sign of Aries then here the mind is very aggressive as Aries is a sign of aggression, physical activity, and willpower. Case 10: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 10th house in the sign of Taurus then here the native is all about getting status in finances which means the native needs name and fame as someone who is rich. I mean they want to show themselves that they are rich or they need the authority and power in controlling the money. So generally these people work in banks or other financial institutions and manage the finances there. If 10th lord, Venus, is placed in the 12th house then their status in life could come even from a foreign country or foreign place. If Saturn (default ruler of 10th house) is placed in the 11th house then they could also work over the internet as a digital designer as 11th house represents the world of internet.

There are also people whose mind is all the time into manufacturing or creating products which Venus or the sign of Taurus represents such as fashion accessories, clothing, food, toys, etc and such people are seen working in large manufacturing units and they can also have this kind of placement of Moon. But Taurus is also a sign of enjoyment and people also enjoy a status in sports and so many sportsmen can also be seen from this placement. It all depends on where Venus (ruler of 10th house) and Saturn (default ruler of 10th house) are placed in the birth chart.

Case 11: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 11th house in the sign of Gemini then here the mind (as Moon is mind) could be involved in marketing and advertising to the masses as 11th house represents the public and Gemini is a sign of marketing and advertising. But Gemini is also a sign of communication and 11th house is the house of the public and so here the mind could also be involved in making networks in the communication world such as telecom engineers and even computer network engineers. IT (information technology) professionals are mostly seen from this placement including those who write blogs and websites over the internet.

Case 12: If 12th house lord, Moon, is placed in the 12th house in the sign of Cancer then this is the best placement for people who want to settle in a foreign country or they may even settle in isolation and spend a lonely and isolated life as a spiritual person or even someone who is all the time working from behind the scenes. But these could also be good singers and very creative people as Moon in its own sign makes a person extremely intuitive. They could even be great writers. These are generally the people who attain higher Lokas after death and even attain liberation after death (moksha).

These could be the most spiritual people on this earth especially if Moon is placed in the sign of Cancer but in the Nakshatra of Pushya. Lord Rama was born in this Nakshatra of Pushya and this Nakshatra is the best Nakshatra out of 27 Nakshatras. These people always want to give others and sacrifice their own comforts. This placement is also found in people who are doctors in foreign countries and also painters are seen from this placement. But the aspect of Saturn on the 12th house can alter the situation here and may make you depressive and then you are forced to spend an isolated life due to depression and not due to spirituality.
