How to see dislike for spouse in Vedic Astrology? (6th lord Jupiter in 7th house)

There are many people who don't like their spouse or ignorant to them and this can be easily seen in their birth chart with the placement of Ketu in the birth chart. If Ketu is conjuncting or aspecting 7th house or 7th house lord then this is entirely possible that the native will not like his/her spouse as Ketu is a planet that represents things you don't much care about. Also, Ketu is a spiritual planet so this could also bring spiritual relationships with your spouse which means the absence of sexual relationships in the married life. Often the husband and wife sleep in a separate room or sleep far apart when Ketu is conjuncting 7th house lord.

This is the chart of a Cancer Ascendant person (male) and you can see his Ketu is placed in the 9th house and it is conjuncting with the 7th house lord Saturn. Also, if you see his Jupiter is placed in the 7th house of relationship with the spouse and as a result of his relationship with the spouse has gone spiritual as Jupiter is a spiritual planet and there is the absence of sexual relationships in his married life. So this is what Jupiter can do in the 7th house but this, in a way, is good if you want to practice chastity.

In his early life, the girlfriend of the native also left him due to issues his father was creating in the family. 6th house actually shows the obstacles or difficulties in life and when 6th lord is placed in the 7th house this shows that major difficulties in life will come from the 7th house of relationships and partnerships. But since Jupiter, 6th house lord is natural benefic and since Jupiter is a spiritual planet it is bringing obstacles in the form of spirituality as sexual life is part of the married life and it suffers when Jupiter is placed in the 7th house.

There are some people who want to follow chastity even after marriage but it is not so that they don't want to produce children. So it is not so that Jupiter will not give children when placed in the 7th house but this could happen that either the native will not get married or will follow chastity even after marriage. Now if the other partner doesn't like chastity then certainly the married life is going to suffer and that is what this is happening with the native of this chart. He wants to follow chastity but his wife doesn't believe in chastity. When a Yogi (follower of spirituality) and a Bhogi (person with materialistic nature) get married this is what happens and Jupiter falls in the 7th house.

But Jupiter in the 7th house is actually very good when it comes to business partnerships as then the native is very honest in business deals. Also, the native becomes very honest in relationship with the spouse and he will never cheat his/her spouse in the relationship. But if the native is too spiritual then the relationship could suffer. If the husband has his Jupiter placed in the 7th house and if Venus is placed in the 7th house in the wife's birth chart then that is usually the case where relationships may suffer. This is because Venus in the 7th house gives inclination towards enjoying relationships and sexual life (for the wife) while the husband is just opposite of that due to the placement of Jupiter in the 7th house. If both husband and wife have their Jupiter in the 7th house then this would be a good married life.

Also, 6th house is the house of getting into debt and when 6th lord is placed in the 7th house the native could get into debt due to marriage expenses or due to some business deal but this is more so possible if 12th house lord, Mercury, is also placed in the 7th house as 12th house is the house of expenses or losses and when 12th lord is placed in the 7th house it shows expenses or losses from the 7th house. So by just seeing 6th lord in the 7th house, one cannot say the native will get into debt but once 12th lord is also seen placed in the 7th house then this confirms that the native will get into debt.

But 6th lord, Jupiter, when placed in the 7th house is good for winning cases related to litigation as 7th house is the gain of the 6th house and it will give you gains in legal disputes when 6th lord is placed in the 7th house. With this placement, you can easily fight for the court cases and you will always win and it doesn't matter what is the nature of the court case. It could be property dispute, divorce, or any other type or you could even be a lawyer with this placement and then you will be having a successful career with this placement especially if Rahu is placed in the 6th house. But this chart as shown on the left is of a native who is a computer engineer by profession as 6th house is also the house of detail-oriented work and it is placed in the 7th house in the sign of Capricorn which represents machines and computer is also a machine.

But Jupiter in 7th house doesn't always create a problem and it depends a lot which house Jupiter is ruling the birth chart. For example, if 2nd lord Jupiter (and also 11th lord Jupiter) is placed in the sign of Leo in the 7th house, for an Aquarius Ascendant, then this Jupiter can bring wealth from relationships and partnerships as 2nd house is the house of wealth. This placement usually gives a lot of money if the native is doing some business as 7th house is also the house of business deals.

If 2nd lord is placed in the 4th house and if 4th lord is placed in the 7th house then this may also give property or car from marriage or relationships. The lord of 2nd house (wherever it is placed) always gives an indication where from the wealth will come in life.

If 3rd lord Jupiter is placed in the 7th house (for Libra Ascendant) then the native may face problem in the relationship with the spouse due to his younger siblings as the 3rd house represents younger siblings. If 4th lord, Jupiter, is placed in the 7th house then the native may face relationship problems due to the mother as the 4th house represents the mother. If 9th lord Jupiter is placed in the 7th house then the relationship with the spouse could suffer due to the father as 9th house represents the father. If 11th lord Jupiter is placed in the 7th house then the relationship could suffer due to a friend as 11th house represents friends.
